Cobra Roadster: Boston drives a restored ' 66 Cobra. The classic color is blue and white. It has a 427 cubic inch engine with two 4 barreled carburetors (obviously, poor on gas mileage). It also has a 4 speed transmission and a removable hard top. A ' 66 Cobra Roadster today would cost well over $100,000. (See pp. 15 and 16 of Entering the Privacy Zone)

Admiral King's Walking Cane: It looks like an ornate walking cane belonging to a high class gentleman but really it's a deadly .22 caliber rifle. The head of the cane is made of polished steel formed into the head of a goose. But inside the goose's head is a pistol mechanism and a magazine into which .22 caliber bullets can be loaded. The rifle barrel extends through the rosewood shaft of the cane and the end of it is a muzzle. (See pp. 9, 96, and 290 of Entering the Privacy Zone)

Boston's Triumph Wristwatch: The brand of Boston's watch is a Triumph but the model, fittingly, is a SpyMaster. It has a computer chip in it that allows it to perform its unique functions such as taking pictures (the facet for the hour and minute hands has an aperture in it), recording (the watch has a microphone in the side of the body), and transmitting (via the recording mic and the winding stem which telescopes out to be an antennae). It is also an elegant watch with a gold and silver body and a blue and silver face that tells time perfectly. You cannot buy this watch in any store. The special Romanesque symbol on the face and back of the watch was created especially for Robert Boston. (See page 192 of Entering the Privacy Zone)

Boston's 9mm Ruger P-85 Pistol: The lightweight P-85 is one of Sturm & Ruger's greatest production models. The P-85 is not only lightweight but also deadly accurate. It holds fourteen 9mm bullets in its magazine and one in its chamber for a total of fifteen lethal pieces of lead.. The P-85 also comes in several handsome styles but the one Boston uses is gray with black grips embossed with the Ruger symbol.

The Transducer: This is a somewhat sci-fi piece that could work with the proper components. It works on the same principle as a laser and, as described by Hans Mueller, interrupts electrical currents. In theory, it could work to interrupt the electrical current from the AV to SA nodes in the heart of a human being or in an animal like one of Georgina Pallerino's longhaired Afghan Hounds. The separate box with the unit provides the electrical power, the magneto synthesizes it, and the antennae, working like the eye of a laser, focuses the interrupting energy to the target. (See pp. 103-106 of Entering the Privacy Zone)

Georgina Pallerino's Afghan hounds: One of the Afghan Hounds fell prey to Hans Mueller and the Tranducer. The other two were gifts to the New York socialite from the beefy German terrorist who romanced her. The Afhgans are a long coat breed and are noted for their shaggy beard-like faces with collie style noses. (See p. 105 of Entering the Privacy Zone)

The Czar: Modeled after a Soviet boomer or an American Los Angeles Class submarine, the Czar boasts added sophistication including unprecedented cruising speed for such a big submarine and special sonar detection. It's arsenal is also probably ten times more deadly than anything either the Soviets or the Americans have in the seas although it is probably in line with what sits on the drawing boards of top secret military engineering labs.

The Special Investigative Branch (SIB) Seal: Within the CIA such a branch exists only in secret and the status and formulation of it is not really known to the public. The seal for SIB was specially designed by Den Preston and combines the elements of nostalgia with a flair of modernicity as seen in the fluid-like eagle. Boston carries a SIB badge with him and it bears this same unique symbol.
